Getting there
Let’s plan ahead. 10,000 cyclists will be making their way to Sydney on Sunday 3rd November to start this awesome ride to Wollongong, so plan ahead to make this an easy and stress-free experience. We highly recommend taking public transport or staying close to the start line. Take a look at all your options below.

Cycling to the start line

Staying somewhere close to the start site in Tempe or Engadine? Awesome you are well ahead of the pack! Remember it will be dark, so have your fluro gear, reflectors and lights ON to stay safe.

If you would like to stay close to the start location then check out our accommodation options.

Public Transport

If you have the option of getting public transport to the event, we highly recommend it. Your Opal Card will be required for all public transport to the start lines. The Special Event Train Tickets are not valid on public transport to the start lines.
