Complimentary tea, coffee, muffins and fruit will be available at the Royal National Park and Scarborough rest sites. We do encourage you to bring some cash with you in case you want to purchase any additional snacks or lunch along the route. You can pre-order lunch packs to collect either at the Royal National Park or the Finish site in Wollongong.
We pride ourselves on having the highest safety standards and emergency procedures in place to ensure everyone has an enjoyable and safe ride. We have 16 medical support vehicles, 22 police vehicles with 124 police, 430 volunteers and 5,000 traffic cones to help direct and assist you along the course – this is a much higher level of support than most cycling events in the country!
We work closely with the NSW Police Force and Roads and Transport Management Centre to provide extensive traffic management along the way, reducing the volume of traffic along the course creating buffers between cyclists and vehicles ensuring that you have a safe an enjoyable ride.
