I'm taking the Challenge to fight MS!

This November, I am taking part in the 2025 MS Gong Ride!
This iconic ride raises funds to help fight MS and I'm now part of this incredible legacy.
Why am I fundraising?
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic and often debilitating disease which attacks the central nervous system. It is the most common neurological disease in young adults and often attacks people in the prime of their lives. Cases of MS are rising and over 33,300 Australians live with the condition.
Your support will help people with multiple sclerosis receive the vital support, treatments, and services to help them live well at home, remain connected to work, and be part of the community, becuase no one should face MS alone.
Thank you again for your support!

My Updates

Merely a speedbump

Monday 20th Oct
Dear sponsors,
Many thanks for helping me reach and exceed my fundraising goal!  I'm very grateful to you all.
The Sunday before last when I was only 10km in to a training ride, I came out of my left clip on a takeoff and managed to aggravate my old béte noire: a disk injury in my lower back from about 20 years ago.
It means that I've only been back on my bike once since then, but I'm pretty confident that giving it the time to heal will help my chances of completing the ride on November 2nd.
I'm determined to ride in the event, so this is merely a bump in the road!
Cheers,
Tim

Not long till the ‘Gong

Saturday 11th Oct
I’ve ridden to the Gong a few times in the past, but this is the first time I’ve committed to it for a worthy cause.
Originally I signed up to support a friend, but he’s had to pull out due to a recent health challenge. So in a way I’m doing it for both of us!

Thank you to my Sponsors
