Bring on the Gong Ride for 2025
Thursday 9th Oct I am back for my 17th consecutive year of riding in the 2025 MS Sydney to Gong Ride. As most of you know this event is very close to my heart as my brother Steven was diagnosed with MS over 28 years ago at the age of 21.Imagine waking up one morning and you can't see out of your left eye, you can't fee the difference between hot and cold water and your paralysed from the waist down.
Well this is what happened to my brother.
As a sister, I watched my happy-go lucky brother go from playing sports every weekend to not being able to move or walk. It was incredibly hard and overwhelming for Steven aswell as our entire family.
My brother is the “the most resilient, courageous, and positive person you will ever meet”. He is my hero and inspiration and this is the reason why I ride in the MS Gong Ride every year.
This iconic ride raises funds to help fight MS and I'm now part of this incredible legacy.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic and often debilitating disease which attacks the central nervous system. It is the most common neurological disease in young adults and often attacks people in the prime of their lives. Cases of MS are rising and over 33,300 Australians live with the condition.
So please help me so I can help people like my brother with MS.
Thank you again for your support!
