I'M RIDING 60KM THIS OCTOBER
TO FIGHT MS
I'm taking the Challenge to fight MS!
This November, I am taking part in the 2023 MS Gong Ride!
Since 1981, this iconic ride has raised funds to help fight MS and I'm now part of this incredible legacy.
Why am I fundraising?
It’s quite staggering to think that multiple sclerosis affects more young people than any other chronic neurological condition. The average age of diagnosis is 30 years, and there is no known cure.
Every person’s MS varies, but some of the symptoms are not being able to see properly (or at all), loss of balance, ability to walk, pins and needles, and chronic pain.
Your support will help people with multiple sclerosis receive the vital support, treatments, and services to help them live well at home, remain connected to work, and be part of the community.
Thank you again for your support!

My Updates
A not so happy update
Tuesday 31st Oct First up - thank you again to everyone for your kind donations and words of encouragement. It's incredible to see the fundraising going onward and upward and I am so very grateful.Sadly, my personal ride will be postponed this year. Due to a family emergency, I must urgently travel overseas and will be there until the second week of November.
I'm sure you'll understand that this is not what I was expecting and the decision to drop everything and go is not something I had anticipated.
What does this mean for the team and the ride? Well, the other members of the team will be completing the ride on the 5th, L Squad will be on the road with all the other amazing folks who have signed up for the ride, which means I will be there in spirit on the actual day of the ride.
On returning to Oz, I'm committed to not only completing the ride but also pledging right now to increase the distance - I'm committing to a 100 km ride to honour the cause and all your generous donations. I'll update here so long as I'm able to access the page, or on Facebook.
Thank you again for understanding and continuing to support me, the team and everyone involved with MS Australia.
Training mischief
Wednesday 25th Oct Trainings going well, i completed an hour and a half on theL Squad
Thursday 19th Oct L Squad began, as so many great ideas do, over a beer at a pub. We'd just concluded a challenging semester together and this was reason enough to celebrate.Linda, Laurie, Lawes (Emma) agreed to get on the bikes at the commencement of the next term. It's such a delight when you work with talented and brilliant people who are also just downright excellent friends too.
Design is my burden
