I'm taking the Challenge to fight MS!

This November, I am taking part in the 2023 MS Gong Ride!

Since 1981, this iconic ride has raised funds to help fight MS and I'm now part of this incredible legacy.

Why am I fundraising?

It’s quite staggering to think that multiple sclerosis affects more young people than any other chronic neurological condition. The average age of diagnosis is 30 years, and there is no known cure.

Every person’s MS varies, but some of the symptoms are not being able to see properly (or at all), loss of balance, ability to walk, pins and needles, and chronic pain.

Your support will help people with multiple sclerosis receive the vital support, treatments, and services to help them live well at home, remain connected to work, and be part of the community.

Thank you again for your support!

THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Wednesday 8th Nov
Dear All,

We rose at 4am. We battled darkness, wind and rain. Then more rain. Then more rain.........and that was just to reach the start line in Tempe!
We were ready, willing and able and entirely committed to continue the journey all the way down to Woollongong.
However, I'm very sorry to say that others (far more official than ourselves) decided otherwise....and had to cancel the event due to safety concerns. To be fair to them, it was the wettest I've ever been on a bike in 30yrs and it was at times utterly, utterly miserable. It would have been genuinely dangerous.
Despite the disappointment I wanted to reach out to every one of you that so kindly donated to the MS cause. Every dollar raised is invaluable in edging us closer to a cure for this terrible disease.
Rest assured that we as Wilson CC did suffer in our training for the event (several rides 100+kms long) and will continue to progress on to bigger challenges ahead.

Thank you all very much!

Best,
Liam

$300

I have made this donation on the assumption that the Riders from MHNDU expand a significant amount of energy in their wonderful charitable work. In other words, I want the members of MHNDU to generate a great deal of sweat.
