I'm taking the Challenge to fight MS!

Dear friends,

I am getting ready to ride to Wollongong for MS.

I'm recovering from a torn meniscus in my knee and Poppy is recovering from a broken shoulder!

I'll ride for both of us as Poppy can't this year.

Our TeamXtreme rode to Lidcombe recently to the MSPlus facility. Its the Sydney centre for MS support.

Its where we could see our fundraising dollars put to work. It has specialty treatment rooms with Gantry cranes, short and long stay accommodation.and a dedicated gymnasium.

The very next day I bumped into an old patient of mine while we were lining up at church. She was with her husband and two toddlers. with a smile she told me that she had been diagnosed with MS 5 years earlier!

I was taken aback and amazed by her calm courage.
