I'M RIDING 80KM THIS OCTOBER
THE DISTANCE FROM
Sydney TO WOLLONGONG
30 yeaars taking the Challenge to fight MS!
This year marks a significant milestone for me. It will be my 30th Sydney to Gong Ride in support of people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
I first took part in the ride as a member of the BHP team three decades ago and then start Team CSC which changed to Team DXC with the change of company name in 2017. Over the years I've led the highest fundraising team one year, won the best dressed team award multiple years and still hold the record for the largest ever team in the event with 298 members.
In all that time, I've only missed two events, both due to ride cancellations caused by extreme weather. Year after year, I've continued to ride because this cause remains as important to me today as it was when I first started.
This year I'm riding solo and I'll once again be getting on the bike and riding the 80km from Sydney to Wollongong to raise funds for MS Plus. Over the years, I've seen firsthand the devastating impact MS can have on individuals and families. I've also seen the incredible difference that MS Plus makes through the support, services and research they provide to help people live well with the condition while working towards a future free from MS.
I've set myself an ambitious fundraising goal of $5,000, and I'm asking for your help to get there.
