I'm taking the Challenge to fight MS!
I am taking part in the MS Gong Ride Virtual, the Ride to Fight MS.
Thank you for supporting me as I take on challenge of riding throughout October, to help support Australians living with multiple sclerosis.
Why am I fundraising?
It’s quite staggering to think that multiple sclerosis affects more young people than any other chronic neurological condition. It can strike anyone at any time and the symptoms vary so widely.
For instance, can you imagine waking up one day unable to do the everyday things you would usually take for granted? Like not being able to see properly (or at all), you physically can’t get out of bed, can’t walk to the phone to call someone – anyone – or live a life without pain?
All of a sudden, your world has changed.
Thanks to your generous support, the funds we raise will allow people living with multiple sclerosis to access vital MS support services. Support to keep Aussies living with multiple sclerosis connected to others and connected to the information and services they need to live their best life.
Thank you again for your support!

Almost sydney to Gong ride today 1st Nov 2020

Still planning to ride to Wollongong!
Thursday 22nd OctThe format this year is DIFFERENT due to Covid-19 and unfortunately there is no official ride. The MS fund requires riders are to cycle 85km through their personal riding and prior to the event closure at the end of October. I’ve already done the 85km just by riding 2 return trips from home to work!
As this is will be my 13th consecutive year of taking on the MS “gong” ride I have still decided to do the full ride to Wollongong with my son Nick on the 31st October. Again, we will be venturing out on mountain bikes with fat tyres. It is likely to take about 4-5 hours and will be a punish I expect!.
Through very generous donations last year, we managed to raise over $13,000 and as a result was the 8th highest individual fundraiser for the event out of some 10,000 riders.
It was from your generous donations that funds are raised to support MS and over these 12 prior years, your donations alone have exceeded $120,000 and MS are greatful for this.
For MS fundraising, we are seeking donations/sponsors for any amount of money, small or large because every bit will count. I would be more than happy to receive donations for an amount as little as $5 and the more of these I get, the greater the donation of course. Donations are tax deductable and easiest to do it online.
Thank you to my Sponsors
