I'M RIDING 1000KM THIS OCTOBER
TO FIGHT MS
I'm taking the Challenge to fight MS!
I recently picked up a $250 Cannondale CAAD8 bike from a guy in Kingswood off Facebook Marketplace.
I wanted to start riding again to get outside and clear my head after losing my dad in November.
As a kid, I’d tow Jimbo around the yard on my trike. As I got a little older, I’d spend hours peddling my Hot Foot around Emu Plains. Eventually, I got into motorbikes.
Now I’m back on a bike, but this time peddling around the lakes at Castlereagh.
I’ve given myself a goal: to ride from Tempe to Wollongong.
So this November, I’m going to complete the 2026 MS Gong Ride.
I'm hoping to raise $750 to support the services, advocacy, and research that help people living with MS, like Alex.
MS is a lifelong neurological disease that affects over 30k Australians. The impacts aren’t always visible and there’s currently no cure.

Thursday 17th Sep I'd just like to say thank you to those who have already donated. I have been blown away by everyone's generosity. I'll be sure to keep on training for the big day. I am now over 700km on my way to 1000km. I'll try to match the donations: $1 = 1km
