Complimentary tea, coffee, muffins will be available at the Royal National Park. At Scarborough Public School you will be treated to fresh fruit served by our dedicated volunteers. We do encourage you to bring some cash with you in case you want to purchase any additional snacks or lunch along the route. Don’t forget your drink bottle to fill up with water available at all Rest Stops. You can pre-order lunch packs to collect either at the Royal National Park or the Finish Village in Wollongong.
We pride ourselves on having the highest safety standards and emergency procedures in place to ensure everyone has an enjoyable and safe ride. We have 16 medical support vehicles, 22 police vehicles with 124 police, 430 volunteers and 5,000 traffic cones to help direct and assist you along the course – your safety is important to us and we provide a considerably higher level of support than most cycling events in the country!
We work closely with NSW Police, Roads Maritime Services and Transport Management Centre to provide extensive traffic management along the way, reducing the volume of traffic along the course creating buffers between cyclists and vehicles ensuring that you have a safe and enjoyable ride.
