On Sunday 1 November 2026, I’ll be taking on the MS Gong Ride, riding from Tempe to Thomas Dalton Park in Wollongong — an official distance of around 80 km — to raise money to support Australians living with multiple sclerosis.
But I’ve decided to make the challenge a little harder.
Every $10 donated = 1 extra kilometre
For every $10 donated, I’ll add 1 km to my ride before the official MS Gong Ride starts.
That means your donation doesn’t just support a great cause — it literally makes my ride longer.
Here’s how it works:
- $100 raised → 10 km extra → 90 km total
- $200 raised → 20 km extra → 100 km total
- $500 raised → 50 km extra → 130 km total
- $1,000 raised → 100 km extra → 180 km total
- $1,800 raised → 180 km extra → 260 km+ total — starting from Newcastle
The more we raise, the further north my starting point moves.
At $200, I’ll start around 20 km north of Tempe.
At $1,000, I’ll be starting around Gosford.
At $1,800, I’ll essentially be starting from Newcastle, riding south to the official start line before completing the MS Gong Ride all the way to Wollongong.
